Yikes! Trying to make money online when you barely know how to build a website can seem intimidating, as anything new does.
And yet you want IN on the action! Start slow....and go step-by-step.
It becomes less frightening! Learning takes time. Be patient with yourself, and patient with the process. Big money won't
happen overnight! But as you press on, your confidence builds. And before you know it? You'll see profits!
People with every kind of background, education, and skill level can build a successful online business. More and more people
come to the internet every day looking for information, solutions to their problems, and tools to help make needed changes in their
lives.
The key word there is "need." Whatever background, education, or skills you have, there is always someone looking
for information that you could potentially provide. Believe it or not, you have valuable information others would benefit from!
Reaching your "awaiting" customers with your knowledge creates a win-win for you both.
To put it simply, a successful online
business "happens" by meeting needs. There are infinite amounts of people with desperate needs or difficult problems and
they come to look online for a solution. Your profit begins when you supply the solution they're looking for.

The "3" Most Important Things to do Before You Start!
Get in the right mindset.
It's proven that a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) in life leads to greater health and a higher success rate
with your goals. If you're new to Internet Marketing, start your positive thinking now by saying, "I AM a successful Internet
Marketer." Write that message on a Post-It Note and stick it on your bathroom mirror. Don't just say, "I will be a great
Internet Marketer" - say, "I AM."
Write down your business goals.
What is it you really hope to attain by starting this business? Be specific. Again,
write this down. Do you want to just make an extra few hundred bucks a month? Are you in a major financial crunch
right now (like I was!) and need money fast? Do you want to be able to quit your job and be your own boss? Are you
looking for time-freedom?
On a blank piece of paper, answer these questions for yourself:
What are my specific business goals now - and longterm?
How much money do I need/want to make every month?
How much can I afford to spend to start my business?
How much time can I devote every day/week to my business?
Taking the time to answer these questions will give you a huge advantage over someone who goes in blindly, without a plan.
First, there
is strength in knowing exactly what you want. It helps create a clear vision of your future dreams and plans. When
you see it in writing, it becomes like a pact with yourself. Something real. Something attainable. You know exactly
what you're going after - and then you can focus on the HOW.
Secondly, affirming a goal - writing it down - makes
it solid and brings it to the forefront of your mind. And since we tend to accomplish what we think about...well, you do
the math! Also, be specific. Saying, "I want to make a lot of money" isn't a clear goal. Instead,
phrase it like: "I want to earn $500/month within 90 days," or, "I want to make one million dollars in two years."
Thirdly,
it gives you realistic expectations for yourself. There is no cap to how much you can make in this business once you acquire
the right tools, but there is NO SUCH THING as going from "broke to stoked" in this business overnight. And be wary of anyone
who promises such things. Realize that this is a real business; and like any business, it will take time to build.
You Have Something to Offer!
Know your financial risk and make a plan
It will take money to start an online business. While there are countless tools
available that are free or cost very little, there will be other resources that will be extremely beneficial to the quick growth of
your business that will carry a cost. Make a budget for yourself. Know in advance what you can afford to spend to
get your business started. Keep a log of your expenses and potential costs as you go.
Consider the costs for webhosting
and domain registration, software or educational material that you find are a valuable investment. You'll discover other costs
along the way as well, so start with a plan and track your expenses, or you might find yourself waist deep in debt before you know
it.
There is money to be made online, and you can certainly share a piece of the pie. But like with all new businesses,
there is risk involved. Know your risk, and make a plan. Spend time perusing this website, and you'll get an idea of the
numerous factors involved in building an online business; but hopefully, you'll also find encouragement and motivation to DO
IT!!
